Improved Medical Chart Software
At last, the medical field has awakened to the need to bring medicine into the new century! Advances in electronic medical records technology means that doctors now have access to improved medical chart software – and chart notes will now be legible.
This does assume that doctors will become computer literate, or that they are at least willing to entertain the notion.
For the most part, however, the medical transcriptionist will be the one who benefits from this new technology. Dictated chart notes can be transcribed and uploaded to the patient’s chart without ever having to brush against old paper based chart notes.
