Networking Business - Get Rid Of Your Unproductive Mlm Habits Once And For All!
There is a fine line between successful network marketers and unsuccessful MLMers. The problem with those who can’t seem to get off the starting blocks is they often assume it takes something special to succeed.
Well, it does but do you know many of those succeeding in their multi level marketing business are just “average Joes” like you who do that little extra. It’s not much more – it’s often termed as “the one per cent syndrome.” Just one per cent extra effort accumulated over a period of time can work miracles.
It’s one of the greatest forms of leverage and if you doubt it, just give yourself one full month doing a little extra and then see where you’re at. It’s quite conceivable your network marketing business will start to take on the life you’ve always dreamed.
Network Marketing Business Consistency
Have you ever wondered why you’re pumped up when you start a network marketing business and are having all the right thoughts. That’s called adrenaline and it’s powerful stuff. The trick is to be able to maintain some of it when the doubts start to creep in.
You go to a presentation for some re-enforcement or talk to your upline and it’s amazing how things always seem a lot clearer. But when you get home, those doubts start to invade your thoughts again.
This is where one needs to take a reality check and realize this is not a game - it’s serious stuff and unless you work your business and perform consistently in it, then it isn’t going anywhere.
It’s at this point where the men are separated from the boys because the fact is, more than 90% of people will drift back into bad habits and ultimately decide to jump ship.
5 Consistency Tips To Supercharge Your Business
Let’s take a look at some ways you can avoid this freefall out of your multi level marketing business and maintain a solid level of commitment.
1. Hire a mentor. No, not your sponsor but someone you respect in your social life or even fear.
2. Set yourself a set number of hours a day you will work in your business.
3. In the beginning, schedule your work hours at a specific time of the day. Remember, a home business requires you to be both CEO and staff and unless you work it, no one else will.
4. Be disciplined. Shut off all distractions including the phone unless you’re using it. This is one of the “fatal” mistakes people working a multi level marketing business from home make.
5. Don’t assume there is no reward at the end of the day. This is very important. Give yourself short term incentives. Reward yourself with each major task you accomplish.

I think it takes a little more than that to be successful.
Positive thinking is great, and needed, but so too is an education in how to successfully market your product/service and opportunity (and I do NOT mean an MLM education) and clearly defined training on how to run a business.
These suggestions are a great start, but unless distributors have an actual PLAN, all the “setting aside time” and positive thinking will do is cause them to spin their wheels. They need to know WHAT TO DO with that time.
Keep up the good work! Best wishes.
